Re: should jaws start up before or after log on is complete?

If you have the ability to log in automatically, windows should start, and 
then a few seconds later, after everything is loaded, JAWS starts. If you 
have to log in yourself, JAWS will speak the login screen and it looks to 
me like it's actually a listbox of users. In my case since I'm the 
only  person using this thing, i have a generic account called user. that's 
the only choice i have in the listbox, so if auto login is turned off, all 
i have to do is press the down arrow, and then the space bar once and the 
user choice is activated and windows starts with the xp music. Hope that 
explains it ok.
