Hmmm. Well here's text I copied from the bottom of one of many message
threads on this list. The standard signature block has this:

 

To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to
jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.

Try the word "set vacation" in the subject line to see if that works. If
not, then try sending one with just the word help in the subject line to see
if you get a list of commands and their format.
