selecting multiple items from within a combo box?

Hello list,
Hopefully someone can refresh my memory as I've forgotten the key stroke to
do this. I want to select multiple items from within a combo box. I think it
involved the f8 and shift key or something along those lines, but it's been
so long that I've had to do it, that I can't recall now.
