Judith,
Well, as I say, this is how it worked, and was supposed to work, in the last
version. Changes like this happen in other regards, too. I know people kept
chiming in with three or four different keystrokes for Reply directly to
Sender, but there was a lot of confusion and miscommunication around that
every time it came up, and I'd rather not revisit it too randomly.

If you download and listen to the recordings of Eric Damery and another
couple of guys discussing and explaining some of the new features of Jaws 8,
you'll find that other commands have been introduced that use the Insert (or
"Jaws") key where only the control key was necessary previously. I'm not
complaining about the overall fact that they have to figure out ways to map
the keyboard to get all these functions to work, jus complaining that this
particular change doesn't appeal to me. Nothing more technical than that.
But what I *am* asking is whether someone can instruct me in how to go into
some Jaws file whose location and method of access I've forgotten, and
possibly reconfigure this to my taste again. Something to do with Keyboard
Manager, I think. You power users and programmers and scripters, please
speak up.

Yardbird, I can't help you but that is what I kept trying and it didn't
work. I just figured that my brain had temporarily left my cranium and
Adrian gave me a workable keystroke. I also would be interested in
reconfiguring. Judith
