repetition fixed

Hi all. I am posting this message in case anybody else has this same
problem. I am running XP home on the PC that had the problem. To refresh
memories, when I would be inside of an email message and would back the
cursor up over a letter, JAWS would repeat the letter over and over again.
My letter repetition problem has been fixed!! My cube mate told me about
a display tab inside of the "accessibility" submenu in the control pannel.
You go into that display tab and there you will find a cursor blink rate
and a cursor width. It turned out that I needed to set my cursor width
down to 0 or some other very low number inside that display tab. I
noticed that my wife's setting for cursor width was set to 0 and I did not
have the repetition problem when I would use her desktop. I set mine to
the same value and that did it.
