While Jaws is reading you can hit the page-up key. Decrease with Page-down. When it is not reading, increase with control, alt, page-up. decrease with control, alt, page-down. These are keystrokes for changing reading speed on the fly. Return to your permanent speed setting with insert escape. Lois Goodine.
