They probably paid out some big bucks to use the DECtalk name for the DECtalk
USB, but it doesn't sound anything like any of the old DECtalk synthesizers,
either internal or external. I only use my DECtalk USB when absolutely
necessary, never for reading text.

think you may be disappointed. I believe they have a demonstration.
