First, what operating system is on the machine with Outlook 2000? If it is
Windows ME or earlier, you can find the outlook.pst file under
c:\windows\application data\microsoft\outlook. If it is Windows XP, you can
find the outlook.pst file under c:\documents and
settings\username\application data\microsoft\outlook.

Move this file over to your laptop in the same folder. Once done, Outlook
should see the new file in place and have your existing e-mail and contacts.
You may need to tweak your filters if they don't exactly work as they did on
the Outlook 2000 program.

Subject: outlook questions

Hey guys,
OK, i'm running outlook 2000 on one of my machines.
On my laptop, i have outlook 2003.
I wanna bring everything over to the 2003 box.
Can this be done, how do i do it?
I wanna bring the contacts over and all of that.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jed
