Ok, thanks. I looked on the Adobe site and saw a Flash player and a Shockwave player. What is the Shockwave player for and do I need it for internet browsing via IE/Firefox? IE and Firefox uses different Flash plugins because the browsers have different plugin architectures. Adobe calls the IE plugin an "ActiveX plugin" and the Firefox plugin the "Windows plugin" If you install Flash from the Adobe website, I suspect it will install both. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp10 -- Benjamin Hawkes-Lewis -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
