Cy, I think it's like saying JAWS has evolved. Natural selection has made

I'm familiar with these scripts.  The reason they haven't been updated since
Jaws 10 is that, according to the documentation, Jaws 11 is now supposed to
natively do what those scripts were written to do with prior versions from
the get go.  So, they weren't needed anymore.
