Try Control-alt-right arrow, (or left arrow to move the opposite direction).
Also,
Control-alt-up and down arrows move you from row to row. At least, these have
been
working for me in Jaws 6.2. I hope they help.

Subject: navigating columns in word 2003

hey guys, I'm running jfw6.2 with Word 2003. I have a document with 2 columns
of
text, and I need to know the command to move from one column to another. Thanks
for
any help.
