Use shift enter to select the entire row

Press control x to cut the row to the clipboard

Move your cursor to the row where you want to insert

Press alt I for the Insert menu

Press enter on "Cut Cells"

I know how to insert a blank row, but how do you highlight a row in xl
to move it from one spot to another?

 

Using j10 and xp with office 2003.
