Hi,
That one:
From Config Manager, go to Set Options/Verbosity. Select the button that corresponds to the setting that you are using. The last item in the following window should be "tool tips." A tool tip is a small window-like bubble which pops up when an item is selected. It shows details about an item, such as what a program does, the size of drives and files and helpful information about some menu items.
Cheers,
Joseph

Cool. What section is this in? I've tried looking for it, but
haven't been
able to find it.

Thank you,

Harmony.

Jaws will speak folder and file size information if you check
"say tool
tips" in the configuration manager. This is not checked by
default.

Hellow,

JAWS 11 is by far the largest in terms of memory. It definitely
takes up
more room than say version 9 or 10 as they''ve added more
features.

Also another question, can I get jaws to tell me the size of a
file or
folder without going all the way into the properties? I've seen
someone do
it but can't work out how they did it. I've managed to get it to
do the
file extensions as I arrow down the list though, which is an
improvement.

hi everyone, as my subject line says I have a memory question
with Jaws. I
was just cureious between jaws 9,10 and 11 I was wondering which
one has the
lowest memory size? As I say just cureious. I would be greatful
if someone
could tell me if maybe he or she has all three versions of the
programme on
there computer to be able to determan which one has the lowest in
size. I
know its a strange question but also was thinking of downgrading
to a lower
version of Jaws to try things out. it doesn't matter cos I only
use 40
minute mode with jaws so won't have to go through the hassel of
actavation
and such. other wise I wouldn't dream of touching a thing!
smiles Many
thanks and hope to hear an answer soon.

Daniel
