I use JAWS with Math every day. What are you having trouble with?

I guess we don't have any jaws users dealing with math on this list.
I hope someone at Freedom Scientific will know about recognizing exponents.

Judy,
I don't know which version of Open Book and Adobe Reader you are using, but you should not need to print out the documents on paper and scan them. Both Kurzweil 1000 and Open Book have virtual printers where you can send these PDF documents to have OCR performed on them.

Hi,

All of the PDF docs I get, after processing come up with"alert empty document." Since I know better, I print it out, scan with OepnBook software in order to access the document. A pain, but it works.

Hi All.

Recently I am having difficulties reading PDF documents.

I am using Acrobat Reading 9, but after following the instructions for the document to be made readable, I find I can only read the first few lines.

I am using Jaws 10 and Windows Vista.

Can anyone please help, or put me in touch with a group that can?

Thanks.

Ron
