Subject: linux screen readers

Hi all!
I am interested in learning how to use Linux. I was wondering if there =
were any Linux screen readers out there that use the eloquence =
synthesizer or come with their own software synthesizer. Also, there are =
apparently different versions of the Linux platform out there. Which one =
should I use? This is off topic I know, but I didn't know where else to =
go. Perhaps a version of jaws should be developed for Linux.
