Katrina, I've had this laptop since December 2003. I went to HP's website
and looked at the specs online; then called HP's 800 number and bought it
through them.
A few of the keys are a little different. There is no six pack, so you use
the delete key on the numpad and the home and the end keys also on the
numpad. On an extra row at the top of the numpad going from left to right
are another home and end key, then pageup and pagedown.
I have had no trouble with JAWS on this computer and I'm very much pleased
with it. It wasn't cheap, but I did get a $100.00 rebate.

Yes, there is. There is an HP Pavilion ZD7000 which has the numpad. this
makes the computer larger, of course, but I have one of these and I really
like it!
