jws and acrobat standard

This is somewhat related to my earlier braille display problems with the
alva satellite. As per FS recomendations I completely removed and
re-installed jaws 5.0.844 and still have problems when panning from left
to right in acrobat standard version 6 Panning once, I'm fine. Pan
again, and it appears about 1 to two letters still gets cut off although
the voice has no trouble speaking the line. If I try to route the curser
using the right most routing button, jaws scrolls my focus back to the top
of the document. I also notice that acrobat is sluggish when I alt-tab
from it to other applications and visaversa. So my question after all
this ranting is, how do I setup acrobat 6 to work best with jaws 5?
