Or rebooting after you installed Avast.

Have you tried using the jaws curser or routing jaws to pc? Or even the
context key? microsoft security essentials is free and seems to be popular
with jaws. It can be found on the microsoft site just select the version of
windows that you are running and download.

G.W. The most recent of avast that I downloaded doesn't even pull up the
memory test stuff. All Jaws says when i open up avast is "Avast Dialogue."
Nothing else works. Not the arrow keys, not the tab key...absolutely nothing.

      Go here
      http://www.accessible-devices.com/AvastProgram.html
and look for a heading level 3, "how to make Avast more accessible."

        Hello,

I know a lot of jaws users use avast antivirus. I just downloaded it
from their website for my laptop, and it seems that their new interface is
totally inaccessible with jaws. has anyone else experienced this?

        Thanks.
