jaws crash with outlook express:

Hi all,
A while back, a computer I've been working with that is running
windows.98 began having a problem where jaws would crash while in outlook
express. We took out all the jaws versions and cleaned the computer and
reinstalled jaws 5.1 and that seemed to work for a while and it began
crashing again and got to the point where just opening oe would cause jaws
to crash. Oe works fine without jaws or with jaws loaded after the computer
starts even with jaws 6.0. We've run scandisk and ad-aware and defrag a lot
and uninstalled and reinstalled jaws at least once before putting 6 in and
we still cannot get this problem to go away. If anyone has run into this
issue and solved it, please let us know how it was solved? it was suggested
by fs that we uninstall and reinstall outlook express, but since oe runs
fine without jaws, I don't want to take this step unless I find out that
this is indeed the cure for the problem.
