You know, I completely neglected that possibility.... Sadly, trying it now, it doesn't do a thing. :) ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob W To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2011 12:05 AM Subject: Re: jaws and slider controls Have you tried the left and right cursor movement keys alt+shift+leftArrow and alt+shift+rightArrow? Bob ----- Original Message ----- From: JM Casey To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, January 31, 2011 10:25 PM Subject: jaws and slider controls Hello everyone. So I'm loking at some slider controls in audio editing software (audacity ring modulator plugin, in fact) which need to be adjusted to very fine increments. I can use the arrow keys to manipulate the sliders, but the values always increase by ten incriments. FOr example, the root pitch value covers the range of 0 to 9999 according to jfw, with the first value above 0 accessible by the slider control being 9. I'd like a value of 3, and I know that a sighted person can accomplish this using the mouse. How can I fine tune/adjust the increments of the slider control using JFW? I hope my question makes sense. I can try to clarify more later. I now realise I've had this problem with other controls in the past...there just doesn't seem to be a way to fine tune like there ought to be. It'd be much nicer if you could simply type a value into the keyboard, but that doesn't seem to work in this particular case, sadly.
