You won't get the output of your triple talk through the sound card of your
computer. That is the point, to direct the output of your screen reading
software or other text to a device which will convert it to speech and speak
that to you.
You possibly could by sending the output of the Triple Talk to say recording
software on your computer and then monitoring the sound of that recording
software.

Hi All, Please excuse the cross posting but I want an answer to this question as quickly as possible.
I just got a new external tripletalk and I have it connected to my computer
with a USB cable. I was hoping to be able to have the tripletalk speech
come through my computer's speakers so I plugged a patch cord into the input
of my sound card and into what I believe to be the earphone jack of the
tripletalk but when I tested it I got no sound at all. The jack that I am
using on the tripletalk is on the same side of the unit as the volume knob,
and in fact I haven't gotten any sighted help yet to tell me what that jack
is but when I unplug the patch cord I hear the noise out of my computer
speakers that I hear whenever I plug something into my USB jacks or unplug
something from them. Am I doing something wrong, or is what I am trying to
do not able to be done? I even plugged my earphones into the jack and got
no sound so it leads me to believe that maybe that is something other than
an earphone jack.
Thanks in advance for any help on this mystery. Troy
