Hi, Dave. Which configuration file should I use when enabling the cursor option changing shape if I only want to show general progress and not have it show in all applications?

No, JAWS has a setting in the cursors page to speak when the cursor changes shape. I've always left that on, the one and only carry-over from my days of
using Window-Eyes.
