AVG 8 isn't accessible from everything that I have heard so far. I'd go
back to 7.5 for now.

I will let others comment on this as well but at first glance no. I just
installed avg 8 and the user interface crashes evry time I try to oen it.
It also installed a toolbar that modifies google searches. I wish to
remove
this but haven't figured out how yet.
