If you have another screen reader such as window eyes, try to unload Jaws
and open the user interface using window eyes.
After the user interface has been open, exit window eyes and start JAWS.

I just installed AVG 8.0 free. It is somewhat different than 7.5. I can't
get to any of the settings. Every time I click on the "interface" button I
get an exception error and it terminates after asking if I want to send a
trouble report. I would like to get to the settings and turn off the
messages it generates about E Mail having been checked that it puts at the
end of messages. Tom
