In JAWS 4.51 or below: 1. Press Insert+D 2. Press Enter 3. Type your Character (the one you don't want to here) 4. Press Tab 5. Press Space 6. Press Enter 7. Press CTRL+S 8. Press Alt+F4 In all later versions you can do this, but there is a more effective, but slightly more complicated way.
