In JAWS 4.51 or below:
1. Press Insert+D
2. Press Enter
3. Type your Character (the one you don't want to here)
4. Press Tab
5. Press Space
6. Press Enter
7. Press CTRL+S
8. Press Alt+F4
In all later versions you can do this, but there is a more effective,
but slightly more complicated way. To outline how to do this using this
method, could you please tell me what your punctuation is set to:
1. Press Insert+J
2. Press Alt+O
3. Press V
4. Press Enter
5. Press tab till you here "Punctuation" and tell me what it says

There are some characters that I occasionally read that I don't want
Jaws to speak. How can I silence them? Examples, =C9 =BB
Please help this makes my documents read a lot longer.
