Ooh, I wouldn't recommend going back to a dial-up connection. Broadband, although more expensive, is so much faster. With JAWS, broadband has made a world of difference in my Web surfing. I no longer have to wait and wait for a page to load. Back with dial-up, I'd even have the information on the screen that sighted users could immediately read but JAWS wouldn't speak until the Web page was completely loaded...and that took forever. With JAWS, the quicker that pages pop up the better. Incidentally, I use DSL broadband which is a little cheaper than cable but still plenty fast. She is reluctant to do this, and I told her that it would be much easier to stick with the broadband connection especially since she is using Jaws. She may even be downloading music in the near future, which would certainly be faster with broadband. I'd like to hear other's thoughts on the pros and cons of using broadband versus dialup, especially as far as Jaws goes. Thanks, John __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
