dial-up vs. broadband

Hi,
I have a friend who is a Jaws user and has been using Charter cable access but
is considering switching back to a dial-up connection in order to save money.
She is reluctant to do this, and I told her that it would be much easier to
stick with the broadband connection especially since she is using Jaws. She may
even be downloading music in the near future, which would certainly be faster
with broadband. I'd like to hear other's thoughts on the pros and cons of using
broadband versus dialup, especially as far as Jaws goes.
