Dear Tracey, Last night, I downloaded the new scripts for MSN from the JFW web site. Sense I'm using Windows XP, and sense Windows XP has a built in unzipper, I took exactly the following steps to install the new scripts: 1. I downloaded the .zip folder to my desktop. 2. I clicked on the folder from there. 3. I then clicked on the "extract all files" button. 4. I then clicked on the browse button and chose the following path to which to extract all files: c:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\FreedomScientific\jaws\6.0\Settings\enu 5. I then clicked on "next". 6. At this point, a dialogue box popped up informing me that a folder which contained the first of the files in the .zip folder already existed and did I want to replace the file? I tabbed to and clicked on the "yes to all" button. 7. At this point, I clicked on the "next" button. 8. I was informed that all files had been successfully extracted. When I went back in to the "advanced verbosity settings, I changed option 12 (JAWS messages) from on to off in the default.jcf file and the msn.jcf file. Then, just to see what would happen, I went back in to Windows Messenger. I pressed shift+alt+F12 expecting to hear the name of the contact who had last signed in since I last started JAWS; but, I didn't hear any such announcement or the fact that no contact had signed in sense I last started JAWS. IF things were working properly, I should have heard this information. Then, I waited. Eventually, a contact signed in but, no name announcement was heard. Could you please have the escalation team get back to me on this one? Thanks.
