Hi,
After installing new scripts, sometimes you have to unload Jaws and then
restart Jaws before they will work=2E
I am not sure from your post, but it seemed that you did not try this=2E
I would try unloading Jaws and windows messenger, then restarting both
programs=2E
Hopefully this will help!

Last night, I downloaded the new scripts for MSN from the JFW web site=

Sense I'm using Windows XP, and sense Windows XP has a built in unzipper, =

took exactly the following steps to install the new scripts:
1=2E I downloaded the =2Ezip folder to my desktop=2E
2=2E I clicked on the folder from there=2E
3=2E I then clicked on the "extract all files" button=2E
4=2E I then clicked on the browse button and chose the following path to=20=
which to extract all files:
c:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application=20
Data\FreedomScientific\jaws\6=2E0\Settings\enu
5=2E I then clicked on "next"=2E
6=2E At this point, a dialogue box popped up informing me that a folder
which=20
contained the first of the files in the =2Ezip folder already existed and =
did=20
I want to replace the file? I tabbed to and clicked on the "yes to all"=20=
button=2E
7=2E At this point, I clicked on the "next" button=2E
8=2E I was informed that all files had been successfully extracted=2E
When I went back in to the "advanced verbosity settings, I changed=20
option 12 (JAWS messages) from on to off in the default=2Ejcf file and the=
=20
msn=2Ejcf file=2E Then, just to see what would happen, I went back in to=20=
Windows Messenger=2E I pressed shift+alt+F12 expecting to hear the name o=
f=20
the contact who had last signed in since I last started JAWS; but, I didn'=
t=20
hear any such announcement or the fact that no contact had signed in sense=
I=20
last started JAWS=2E IF things were working properly, I should have heard=
=20
this information=2E Then, I waited=2E Eventually, a contact signed in but=
, no=20
name announcement was heard=2E Could you please have the escalation team =
get=20
back to me on this one? Thanks=2E
