Well folks, two issues here, the run-a-way JAWS and the infamous reply to
sender.

Reply to sender works quite well - on very particular emails - but on
others, oh well, that's life in the Big City.

This has been true for a good number of JAWS versions so nothing new.

The run-a-way JAWS seems to be much more pronounced with 11 (on W7 as I do
not have 11 on my XP machine)

The case of the disappearing JAWS is far more pronounced on W7. If you just
happen to arrow up or down in an email and encounter a line which says
"include a picture" well, just say "Good Bye JAWS" and re-start JAWS.

hi dorothy.

that is very strange.

the only thing i can think of here is that i had put my reply to the mailing
list from chris's last message.

not too sure exactly how it works, but that is the only possible answer i
can think of.

anyway, if you want to contact me off list then my e mail is:

hi dorothy.

i am sure i remember way back to xp i had this same problem, and it was a
bit easier to work out how to fix it.

i am more than certain that it was a screen resolution problem, but in my
case with windows 7 it didn't matter what i did with the resolution, it
didn't make any difference.

it is definately a very annoying problem to have and i hope all people that
have it just now manage to get a work around it.

regards.

glad you sorted it out but do not think it is a Jaws 11 problem, the issue as
I described it,has been on most Jaws versions I have ever used, better had I
explained it as Jaws speaking non-stop,,on second thoughts it happens less
on windows 7, but it just crashes on there, the run away trick of Jaws is
impossible to control by control Alt and delete or any keystrokes, it just
intends to read everything in sight with great stamina,I have to shut down
the computer. I found often just shutting down the pc and leaving it a
while,is a good tip

hello list.

ok, for some reason when i switched my machine on this morning and i landed
on the desktop, jaws 11 decided to not just announce "not selected
computer", but started to name all the items i had on the desktop.

when i tab to the start button it will announce i have landed there but will
also say computer.

i do not know of any other places jaws is doing this, but it is quite
annoying on the desktop.

can anyone help me with this problem?

i am running jaws 11 on a windows 7 ultimate system.

all help is appreciated.
