On reflection, maybe the problem persists because you have another of those codes embedded earlier. I think I've encountered that issue. It's easy to create this code by mistake. The way I look for earlier instances of unwanted codes in WordPerfect is to go back every few paragraphs to find out approximately where the formatting problem begins and then dig carefully to isolate the code.

This is a paragraphing style, I believe called hanging indent. But deleting the code should eliminate the format. It does in my case.

Hello: In wordperfect 12, when I see in the reveal codes "hd left in", what does that mean? The result is that the second line of a paragraph is indented furthe rto the right, and even if I ddelete the reveal code it does the same thing. Thanks in advance. John Fioravanti
