We use one in the recording studio at work so that the person doing the narrating can take the keyboard into the booth with them, point the monitor at the glass, and record books entirely on their own. I use this keyboard completely succesfully when I'm monitoring someone narrating in the booth. My boss tells me you can get this keyboard ('ll find out make and model) for under a hundred bucks Canadian.
