Hi Boris,
When in WMP 11, I suggest that you press alt v for the View Menu, then cursor down to Classic Menus and press Enter, or you can just press Control m for this option.

Trust me, WMP11 does work with JAWS 8. Try changing the mode from full
to compact by switching to it from the view menu. Control 2 might work
as well. Once you're in this mode, the menus will behave like that of
WMP10. Hope that helps.M
