Hi the problem has been found been fixed and sent to Debby.
I hate it when fs changes things like that. Considering there was no need
to change it in the first place.
Have fun 7.1 beta users.

Hi a note for all 7.1 users it seems for what ever reason a missing variable
the scripts do not compile. Note there is no need to recompile do to the
fact they were created with 7.0 they will also work fine with out
recompiling.
Now am not sure what has changed in 7.1 where they will not compile but I
will of course look in to it and see about correcting the problem. Note I
do not usually script for beta software because to much can change by the
time the final relece comes down but I will give it a look at.

Hi also you can restore from factory default by looking at the facdef
folder.

Chris, if you had put the scripts in your user enu folder (explore my
settings), and the scripts don't work for you, all you should have to do is
delete all the script files from your user settings enu.
The all users (shared settings) scripts aren't touched when you put scripts
in your user enu folder. If you delete them from your user folder, the all
users scripts should load.
There is a TSN on this, but for the life of me I can't find it right now.
It seems like the knowledge base changes, every time I do a search, ha ha.

Subject: RE: David the creator of the winamp scripts

hi. As I posted to the Winamp4TheBlind list I run, unfortunately these
updated scripts do not work well at all on my system. In fact, they seem to
have broken some of the other scripts included before, most notably the
speak total time of the currently playing track and the elapsed time of the
currently playing track, as well as a few other things like speak status of
stop before next track. Those were the only things I found. Since i make
great use of these functions in my broadcasting, I could not very well keep
these scripts. So, luckily for me, I had a previous version of JAWS on my
system, which I went backto and copied the scripts over to 7.0 which is what
I use currently. So folks, if you try these scripts, it would be a very
good idea for anyone trying out these to copy the current ones into a folder
on your hard drive. That way if something bad happens as it did on my
system here, you can go back. I did and the scripts work again just as they
did before. Note that before reverting back to the other scripts, I
recompiled the scripts and closed and restarted JAWS in hopes that this
would do the trick. However, they just did not work for me, sorry to say.
Just thought I would share my experiences. I hope some of you have better
luck than me!
