Hi,
My advice would be to forget about wmp for ripping or encoding. CDEX which
is free and can be downloaded from www.jfwlite.com
or, Goldwave which has a great trial version at www.goldwave.com
Nero is also excellent.
All these programs work great with jaws.

I looked at using Windows Media Player, but could not figure out how to do
