Vista crashing on JAWS exit

Hi all,
I'm running into a problem when I exit JFW on my new laptop. I'm low
vision, and often still use JFW and Zoomtext in tandem, particularly when
trying to navigate difficult webpages. However, if I try to close JFW,
sometimes I get a blue screen of death, and the computer promptly restarts.
This only happens about 50% of the time, but it's completely unpredictable,
so there have been times when I've been doing research (I'm a student) and
have lost work because the computer has restarted on me. Has anyone else
experienced this? Is there anything I can do?
I'm running Windows Vista Business 32 bit and JFW 10, with Zoomtext 9.14. I
was told that JFW does seem to have a problem when shutting down in Vista,
but was curious if maybe an upgrade to the 64 bit version would improve
things?
