Well, sometimes, when you tell Jaws to uninstall, it says that it's updating the program. But there comes a point where it asks you what do you want to do. I believe that the choices are repair, modify, or remove. At this point, you arrow to remove and hit enter. I know that the uninstall commands can be misleading. Let me know if you have any luck with the uninstall.
