Hi Ann:

We use Talking Typer in our Office Skills and Seniors program. The one issue
using it with JFW is that when you bring it up, JAWS doesn't go to sleep and
you've got two voices talking. To fix this:
1. After Talking Typer comes up, hit insert-F2, then C to go into the JAWS
Configuration Manager.
2. Press enter as the configuration manager will need to create a
configuration file for Talking Typer.
3. Once in configuration manager, press alt-S to go to the set options menu,
then up arrow to Advanced Options and press enter.
4. You'll be on a check box that is unchecked and will say Sleep Mode Enable.
Press space to check this box, then, press enter.
5. Press alt-F4 to get out of configuration manager, and answer by hitting Y
when asked if you want to save changes.

Now, Talking Typer will talk when it comes up, and when you exit it, JAWS will
come back up.
