Hi Steve,
Why bother putting up the context menu and clicking on copy? So long as the
address in the From line is already selected (which it was when I tried your
method), it would seem that the normal thing to do, what I did at any rate,
was just to press control c to copy to clipboard. And of course then start
a new message and paste this into the new From line, just as you say. But
why do you bring the context menu into this when it's just an ordinary
control c/copy to clipboard type of situation? Maybe you had a special
reason?

well before you get the script here is a way you can send private messages.
Lets say you get a message on the list just like this written by me. To
reply to me alone you
1 hold down the alt key and hit the number 1 on the top row twice quickly.
2 hit the context key
3 hit c for copy
4 hit control n for new message
5 hit control v for paste and there you go.

I too would be intterested in this script--sounds like a great way to
reduce the amount of traffic on the list.
I usually save all such interesting posts but I was on vacation for about
2 weeks and missed this one.
I am putting a direct link for my e-mail address but not necessary, I
guess--with this amazing new feature which I imagine is a macro of some sort
but certainly clever for someone to think of and write and certainly, long
overdue.
