Hi. Call FS, and talk with someone there about not getting your disk. If =
you don't like the response, go all the way up the chain until you get =
what you want.=20

Of course, remember that you can always say "you keep upping the date so =
up yours!!"=20

What happens if you haven't received your cd. I haven't received mine =
=3D
at
home or at work but Freedom unscientific says they wont search for my
shipment until after March 7 now. They keep upping the date. Last week =
=3D
it
was March first. I do have valid SMA's

Subject: Time is running out

                        Hi folks

Just wanted to remind folks who downloaded the quella version of JAWS =
=3D
6.0=3D20
that you only have a little while left before you must install the =
ILM=3D20
version of JAWS 6.0 to keep it running. I've posted instructions about =
=3D
how=3D20
to install it to the list a lot of times, but i imagine we've got =
new=3D20
comers or perhaps you're just really behind in mail and just now caught =
=3D
up=3D20
and aren't sure what to do.

1. If you have your JAWS 6.0 CD, find your authorization CD and place =
=3D
it=3D20
in your CD rom drive. You should hear a message saying that you have =3D
done=3D20
this and if you want to install JAWS, put in the program CD and follow =
=3D
the=3D20
instructions.

2. Press the enter key and this message will go away.

3. Find your JAWS program CD and place it in yourCD rom drive. 4. Follow =
=3D
the
on screen prompts and install the ILM version of 6.0. Note=3D20
that if you have any settings you made during the time you used the =3D
quella=3D20
version of 6.0, that these settings will not be overwritten.

5. Once JAWS starts again, you will be prompted to activate. So go =3D
ahead=3D20
and do that.
To activate JAWS, do the following:

1. Press enter on the next button when the activation screen appears. =
=3D
2.
You will be prompted with several different ways of activating, the=3D20
default and recomended choice is over the internet, so press the next
button. 3. You will be prompted to enter your 20 digit activation =3D
number.
Remember=3D20
when you put in your activation CD a bit ago? The reason why we did this =
=3D
is=3D20
so that your activation information including 20 digit activation number =
=3D
is=3D20
in your computer's registry where a lot of important information is =3D
stored.
So your 20 digit activation code *should* be in the edit box. If it =
is,=3D20
press the next button. If, for some strange reason it isn't, type it in =
=3D
to=3D20
the edit box and press the next button. Note from my own personal=3D20
experience, entering your activation information is the best way to =3D
insure=3D20
you get the code right because the braille on the CD sleave leaves a lot =
=3D
to=3D20
be desired.
6. After you press the next button, you will be told to wait while =
an=3D20
activation code is received. What's happening here is that the =3D
IInternet=3D20
License Manager ILM is running a check to make sure your 20 digit=3D20
authorization number, your cerial number and computer's locking code all =
=3D

match up with their records. If they all do, an activation code, which =
=3D
isa=3D20
very long number with over a hundred digits is generated, and this is =
=3D
when=3D20
JAWS is actually activated. You can now use JAWS as you did before, =3D
only=3D20
this time you won't have to worry about entering anymore =
information=3D20
again. You are able to remove an authorization, but obviously you =3D
wouldn't=3D20
want to unless you absolutely needed to. Hope this information helps =3D
some=3D20
people who just haven't gotten around to upgrading yet. It's a =
painless=3D20
proseedure and you'll find it very easy if you follow the simple=3D20
instructions I outlined here.
