that's approximately the same as what I'm saying. It just started a little
while ago. And of course it doesn't kill anyone, but I do get tired of opening
a JFW list message to hear "message" first thing. It's just kind of stupid. I
am starting to think it may have something to do with something the listserv
does with the mail in the process of distributing it. But how would I know?
All I know is that nothing changed in my email client, nor my version of Jaws,
and that I don't encounter this silly thing on any other mailing list or in any
other examples of my email correspondence.
What can you do. I can live with it. But I can't help being curious and wish
someone with the appropriate tech expertise would explain it, instead of us all
going around like the five blind men feeling the elephant. That routine gets
really funny sometimes, when all of us are speculating as hard as we can, based
on each of our levels of tech knowledge about the subject at hand. If there
are any programmers or others on the list with that level of savvy about such
things, no one has spoken up. Yet, at least.

Hello Yardbird,
I have been using JFW since 4.0 (if memory serves me) and I have been using
Outlook 2002 since it came out and have never heard anything like these tags
until just a few days ago. It is not really any big deal, but is somewhat
annoying.

But not only haven't I changed my Jaws from V. 7, but I have been using OE 6
all along, as well. I just began hearing these message words a few weeks ago
on a lot of peoples' messages here, although not on any other mailing list to
which I'm subscribed. For what that might be worth.

At the risk of giving the dead horse one more kick, and out of curiosity, I did
not start hearing this message tag in the few members messages that it appears
in until I installed JFW version 8 and that it is why it caught my attention so
quickly. I am wondering if there is a feature in version 8 that enabled it on
my end.
Now that I think about it, Yardbird was using JFW 7 last I knew, so I guess it
might be something going in OE.
