Hi, This is indeed an Outlook Express problem, not a JAWS or server issue. I have the same trouble on my machine running Windows ME and Outlook Express v6 and it usually happens after the machine locks up while receiving mail. You must run scandisk to fix the problem. Unfortunately, in a lot of cases, you'll need to shut down nearly all activity in the background or else scandisk will keep restarting itself over and over again and it will never complete successfully. To get rid of all but the essentials, run msconfig, go to the startup tab and uncheck just about everything you see except systray. Reboot and run scandisk to completion, then go back into msconfig and restore everything to normal and reboot. It's a major pain, but it works. You have my sympathy. Good luck.
