Streaming audio books over the internet

Would anyone be interested in listening to audio book broadcasts using
streaming audio over the internet?

I've always wondered why radio stations (internet or otherwise), never
broadcasted audio books in the same manner as music. So I thought it might
be a fun thing to try.

Over the years, I've gathered quite a large collection of various audio
books, and was never averse to sharing. However, due to legal issues, I
could never make copies, or make them available as downloads from the
website.

Still, using the same rights as internet radio stations, I could broadcast
them for people to listen to, using streaming audio.

Also, in this way, I could share the books that are no longer in production.
For instance.

About ten years ago, I was given the first three audio books of the Dark
Tower series (The Gunslinger, The Drawing of the Three, and the Wastelands),
by Stephen King. All three audio books, being read by the author.
Personally, I thought he was a pretty good reader, and that he was able to
capture the mood and tone of the books remarkably.

However, the subsequent books in the series were produced by other readers,
and the previous books (those mentioned above), were reproduced by a latter
reader, and went out of production as they were.

Making them available by streaming audio, would be one way of keeping such
audio books alive.

Would anyone like such a service to be available? Please let me know, for I
wouldn't be doing this for myself.

Best wishes, Bryan
