Kim,

Can you get to page 2 by using the Go to Page function? Not sure myself why
you're getting this behavior. Is it possible that the text on page 2 is in a
font that's unreadable by JAWS, or perhaps all text on page 2 is inside a text
box? Another thought is if the text on page 2 happens to be only on a
right-hand column of two columns.

Just brainstorming.

Dave
If so, then you may have an embedded character at the end of page 1

Subject: Strange Issue While Working in Word

  Hi All,

I'm having a really strange problem when working in Word. I'm in the process
of creating / editing content for upcoming classes and courses, and so due to
that, am often going back through, line by line, to reread and rewrite.
Sometimes I'll just use my arrow keys to accomplish this, due to the careful
editing I'm trying to achieve.

So, let's say I'm on the last line of page 1. If I press my down arrow key,
it should take me to the first line of page 2, but rather than doing so, it
takes me to the first line of page 3, totally skipping page 2 altogether. This
behavior is driving me to distraction. I've never experienced this.

Any suggestions as to how to correct this would be exceedingly helpful and
most appreciated. I can't imagine what's going on here.

  Many Thanks in Advance,
  Kim
