Spike in Word vs. JFW Clipboard Re: pasting multiple items on the clipboard then retrieving them all in JAWS 7.0?

Hi All,
When I first read the new features for JAWS 7.0 I thought the new
JAWS Clipboard reminded me a bit of a Word command that I tend to
forget about since I don't use it much. I haven't installed JAWS 7.0
yet, so I may be totally off track, but isn't the new JFW Clipboard
similar to Spike in Word? Here's a description of Spike and how to
use it:
USING THE SPIKE TO EDIT
Word for Windows has a feature which allows you to collect groups of
text and paste them in another location. It is different than the
Clipboard, which allows you to work with only one item at a time. The
Spike is named after an old-fashioned paper holder onto which people
poked papers as they were done with them. To collect information in
the spike, simply select the text and press Ctrl+F3. This cuts the
information from your document and places it in the Spike. You can
continue this process, and Word for Windows will add all the selected
text to what already exists in the Spike.
When you are ready to paste the information somewhere, simply press
Ctrl+Shift+F3. All the information in the Spike (not just the last
text you placed there) is deposited in your document at the insertion
point. This action also erases everything in the Spike. If you want to
paste the contents of the Spike without clearing it, you can follow
these steps:
1. Position the insertion point where you want the Spike contents
pasted.
2. Type spike.
3. Press F3.
Maybe this will also be clear when I install the new JAWS.

What you're describing is the standard Windows capability with the
clipboard. What they're talking about is a new feature in Jaws 7 that
augments the regular procedure by allowing you to add more than one
thing to
the clipboard without automatically clearing the first thing by doing
so.
Then, the idea goes, you can copy everything at once onto something,
or into
something. It's got nothing to do (at least on the "copy to
Clipboard" end
of the procedure, with that.

Beto, I hav Jaws 5.1. To the best of my knowledge the copy function
can
only be done with one document at a time. If you pasted all your
information into one document you could highlight the entire thing and
paste
it to where ever you wanted. However, if the information or documents
you
wanted to copy were in separate documents you couldn't copy one, go to
the
next etc and have all of them pasted into one document. Here's a
quick
example:
You have information about software in one document.
You have other information about software in another document.
You copy document one to the clipboard and then document two.
When you paste these documents into one document only the second will
appear. If both would appear what would happen if you copied one
piece of
information to your clipboard, pasted it and then went to copy another
bit
of information for another purpose? Would you want both pieces of
information to show up in the second document in this case?

Hello for the last time tonight!
Okay, the last question I have for everyone tonight! How do I paste
multiple items on the MS Word clipboard using JAWS 7.0; then retrieve
all of
them? Some of the items I need to paste are entire letters then
others are
simply subject lines on E-mails? Will the JAWS 7.0 clipboard be able
to do
both at the same time?
