yes, I have.  As with Shift tab, it allows me to read whatever is in that 
field using my Jaws reading keystrokes, but the field still announces itself 
as a read-only field.  As I said, I'm not prevented in Word's spell checker 
from performing editing in that field, but in OE, it seems I am and never 
tried it before.  I'm using Jaws 6, OE 6, Win XP with SP 2.  If that 
matters.  Anyway, if I can't get that particular field to become editable, 
it's not such a tragedy.  I just finish the spell check, then go back and 
see where the word is and type whatever I want to type.  No biggie.
