Hi,
This is in accord with my explanation that lack of end punctuation (the type
of punctuation that ends a sentence or a phrase) is what causes it, and that
means that by stopping and restarting, as you describe, you can raise the
pitch back to normal. But of course, you wind up interrupting the flow of
the reading, which may or not be agreeable, either, depending how you feel.

Hi Lister,
Not always, sometimes when I listen to a NFB banquet speech the text
version, it stays the same as far as the pitch goes, once in awhile
listening to an e-mail it will drop. What I do is hit the control button,
then hit insert down arrow. Dave Hutchins
