Dick,
Have you looked at msconfig to see what programs are being loaded at
startup? That could explain why JFW is taking so long to start talking.

Hello
For my last 3 computers including one laptop it takes 90 Seconds for my
computer to talk saying "JAWS" from a cold start. On a re boot it still
takes 90 Seconds to speak.
This has been true from JFW version 4.X to today JFW version 6.2. The
computers have been Pentium 3 and 4 all on a Cable connection. I time each
time I start up so that I don't set and think what is wrong here, I know
that everything is on its normal time schedule!
