Recycle Bin question

Hello List
I have made a change in my Windows XP concerning the Recycle Bin and I don't
know how to get back to where it was.
When I delete a file instead of going to the Recycle Bin it is just gone,
similar to holding down the Shift key when pressing Delete.
How do I check or find out where to check so that deleted files will go to
the Recycle Bin?
I am using Windows XP, JFW 5.00.812, Pentium 4, 512 RAM, 60 Gig Free space
on my hard drive and OE and IE 6.X.
