I need to write a PHP website, and up to this point I have been involved with the English language. However, my client now requires his website to be in Farsi (Persian; the language spoken in Iran), and I am looking for an editor which supports UTF-8, and in which Jaws reads the unicode characters. Microsoft Word is such an editor, which is rather a word processor and not actually a code editor. Eclipse is good, however very heavy and with functionality that I will not ever use, not to mention that I have to tell it every time that I need to save the file as UTF-8. All I want is a notepad-like application in which Jaws reads what has been typed when they are out of the usual scope of ASCII symbols.
